The King Baudouin Stadium was sold out for this fixture against the reigning European Champion. Belgium was directly in the right tempo. Lukaku got himself a good chance, but he missed his shot. This was, unfortunately, the one and only bewitching moment of this first period. The match was very closed. The score at half-time was therefore logically 0-0.

The fans were hoping to see more fervor in the second half. The Belgians were again offensive, but the tempo dropped a notch a little later. The second period was a copy of the first 45 minutes. Final score: 0-0.

The Belgian Red Devils were unable to score in their first of three friendlies before the start of the World Cup. Next Wednesday, our national team will face Egypt, while Costa Rica will be the opponent five days later. Tickets are still on sale for these games.
